What’s new

Every release, newest first: the same notes the app shows after an update.

A safer Aurek, under the hood

    • We checked all of Aurek for security and privacy and fixed what we found. Nothing changes in how you use it.
    • Download a backup now also has your payments, the squad and challenge reports you sent, and any moderation steps on your account.
    • Deleting your account now also deletes the squad and challenge reports you sent.
    • We removed leftover code from features that are gone, so the app is a little smaller.

    A tidier Aurek

    • We went through every screen: buttons that did nothing now work, doubled-up controls are gone, and labels say what they do.
    • Squad, the Feed and your profile show the same rank and streak, and Train and You count your week the same way.
    • While you rest between sets, Adjust and the workout's "…" menu are no longer hidden under the rest bar.
    • Runs ask how hard it was on the same 1–5 scale as workouts, and units live in one place: Settings › Units.
    • New on aurek.app: How it works, a Fitness Score calculator, questions and answers, a blog, and every release on one page.
    • Help links to those pages, and What's new has a link to every release.

    A calmer, quicker Aurek

    • Goals can be any length, from 4 weeks to a year, with checkpoints on the way. A lift goal sets your PR goal, a weight goal sets your calories.
    • Checking off a set is calmer: tap the tick again, or Undo, to put it back. After a workout, Save is the main button; "Also post" is up to you.
    • Today is shorter. The check-in starts blank, the readiness card stays put, and Next up keeps up with your day.
    • Your Fitness Score gives about 1 point per finished workout. Maxes you type in count toward your total, not this week's points.
    • Settings are split into short pages, and Download a backup now includes everything our servers keep about you.
    • When you're signed out, you choose whether your health data stays on this device. Aurek is 18+: an age under 18 blocks the account.

Your Aurek Fitness Score is here

    • XP and badges are gone. Your Fitness Score only goes up: heavier lifts, more reps, faster runs and every finished workout add points. Tap it to see the graph.
    • Set goals for the year, like bench 225 or a faster 5K, and watch the bar fill. We'll cheer when you hit one.
    • Readiness now comes from four things only: how you feel, soreness, sleep and nutrition.
    • The Feed looks like the social apps you know: replies, likes and share under every post, and a compose button in the corner.
    • Squad leaderboards rank by points gained this week.

    A simpler way around Aurek

    • Five tabs: Today, Train, Feed, Fuel and You. Cardio is inside Train; Sleep is the "Last night" card on Today.
    • Today's "Next up" card has one button for what's next: check in, start your workout, log lunch, log sleep.
    • The Feed is in the middle: see your squad, this week's top 3, and share today's workout in one tap.
    • In a workout: Swap on every exercise, and Short on time, At home and Something hurts right at the top.
    • Settings, Progress and your profile live under You.

    Fixes and polish in Aurek

    • Moving a rest day now sticks: your workouts stay put after a refresh or on another device.
    • No more black screen when switching tabs.
    • The "Why?" and ⓘ notes open the same way everywhere.
    • AI features now give you a heads-up before you reach today's limit.
  7. · Release 18 · Link

    A fresh look for Aurek

    • A calmer, cleaner design: Today, Fuel and Sleep are softer and easier to read at a glance.
    • Training is built for the gym: big numbers, a set table and the plates to load.
    • Fewer words on every screen. Tap "Why?" or ⓘ for the full reasoning, like "Why this weight?" on each lift.
    • Nothing about how the app works changed: same plan, same data, same features. A few extras now sit behind "…" or Adjust.
  8. · Release 17 · Link

    What's new in Aurek

    • Our new name is Aurek. Same app, same account, same data: only the name changed.
    • A new icon, and a cleaner, calmer look across the whole app.
    • Our website is now aurek.app. Links you already shared keep working.
